Recipes for children: rainbow pizza
Here’s one of the easiest rainbow pizza recipes for kids, to make getting their 5-a-day both fun and tasty.
Takes about 30 minutes
What you’ll need
- Baking tray
- Cheese and tomato pizza
- Chopped red onion
- Chopped cherry tomatoes
- Chopped green pepper
- Sweetcorn
- Plenty Original kitchen paper
- Pre-heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Place the cheese and tomato pizza on a baking tray.
- Start making the colourful rainbow by placing a spoonful of chopped red onion in the middle of the pizza.
- Next, add a ring of chopped cherry tomatoes around the red onion.
- Then add a ring of chopped green pepper around the cherry tomatoes.
- Finally, add a ring of sweetcorn around the green pepper, and bake in the oven for around 10-15 minutes.
- Now for the food magic that young children will love. Remove from the oven, and cut the pizza in half to make two rainbows, or into wedges. Once cool enough to eat, serve the pizza on some kitchen paper.
Tip
Plenty Original kitchen paper is ideal for serving food at mealtimes or when you’re out and about. It’s safe to use, it’s strong and its high absorbency will soak up any excess moisture or grease.
