Can you re-use the compostable paper towels?
All Plenty kitchen paper towels are wettable, wringable and scrubbable and are so strong that they can be used multiple times! Instead of using one sheet and throwing it away, after removing a spillage, the towels can be wet under water, wrung out and used again immediately (up to twice) to finish the task.
What’s the best way to wash Plenty kitchen paper so that it can be re-used?
Plenty’s strong kitchen roll is not intended to be washed in the washing machine, nor to be washed in the dishwasher. To prevent the growth of bacteria and to re-use your compostable paper towel, wash it under water, wring it out and let it dry.
Can you re-use Plenty kitchen roll when using it in food preparation?
No. Always use a fresh sheet when using Plenty kitchen roll to handle food. This helps to keep food germ- and bacteria-free and everyone happy.
How is Plenty kitchen roll certified to be compostable?
The compostability of consumer tissue products was assessed internally and certified by third party institutes. The third party institute certified to recognised standards (NF T 51-800 and EN 14995) considers the following criteria: composition (critical substances), biodegradability, disintegration during biological treatment, effect on the biological treatment process and effect on the quality of the resulting compost.
